Viet Hoa International School Becomes a PlayChip Founding Partner 

Partnering with SIPP Technology Corporation and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University to Advance AI and Semiconductor Education in Vietnam 

July 20, 2026 – Viet Hoa International School (VHIS) has officially signed the PlayChip Founding Partner Agreement with SIPP Technology Corporation, marking a significant milestone in the school's commitment to advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and semiconductor education in Vietnam. 

The agreement was jointly signed by Mr. Hsieh Ming-Hui, Chairman of Viet Hoa International School, and Dr. Jiang Chang-An, Chairman of SIPP Technology Corporation. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Professor Chi-Hung Lin, President of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), together with representatives and senior leaders from both organizations. 

This partnership represents an important step in bringing Taiwan's world-class AI and semiconductor education resources to Vietnam while strengthening international collaboration in cultivating future technology talent. 

A Strategic Partnership for Future Technology Education 

The PlayChip Founding Partner Agreement establishes a long-term strategic partnership between Viet Hoa International School and SIPP Technology Corporation. 

Through this collaboration, both parties will jointly develop and implement the PlayChip AI Semiconductor Education Program, covering curriculum development, teacher professional training, student hands-on learning, technology competitions, international exchange programs, and the establishment of an AI and Semiconductor Education Demonstration Center. 

Together, the partnership aims to create an innovative learning ecosystem that prepares students with the knowledge and skills required in the rapidly evolving AI era.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Jiang Chang-An, Chairman of SIPP Technology Corporation, said:

As one of Taiwan's leading research universities, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) is internationally recognized for excellence in electrical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, and semiconductor research. 

The PlayChip AI Semiconductor Education Program is officially authorized by NYCU for international promotion, reflecting the university's commitment to sharing Taiwan's educational strengths and semiconductor expertise with the global community. 

During the ceremony, Professor Chi-Hung Lin, President of NYCU, remarked:

Originating from the BeLight AI Semiconductor Project, the PlayChip AI Semiconductor Education Program embraces the philosophy of Learning by Creating. 

Students learn through project-based and hands-on experiences covering Artificial Intelligence (AI), semiconductor technology, Scratch programming, sensors, Physical AI, and interdisciplinary innovation. 

By engaging in coding, game development, sensor applications, and creative design projects, students develop computational thinking, critical thinking, logical reasoning, collaboration, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills—essential competencies for the future AI-driven world.

Under the Founding Partner Agreement, both organizations will work together to: 

• Introduce the PlayChip AI Semiconductor Education curriculum  

• Provide professional teacher training and international certification  

• Organize student innovation competitions and hands-on learning activities  

• Establish an AI and Semiconductor Education Demonstration Center  

• Promote Taiwan–Vietnam educational exchange  

• Strengthen research collaboration and industry-academia partnerships
