The core educational goal of our school is centered on “morality, diligence, and progress." One of our main aspirations is to create a comfortable and warm environment for all of our students. It is crucial to lay the foundation for good manners, politeness, and tidiness from very early on so that our students become successful, hardworking students. Welcome to Viet Hoa International School.
A strong education should do more than prepare students for examinations. It should give young people the knowledge, confidence, character and judgement to succeed in a changing world.
VHIS has a distinctive identity. Our students learn across Vietnamese, Chinese and English language and cultural contexts. For us, being trilingual is not simply about studying three languages. It is about developing the confidence to communicate, understand different perspectives and participate successfully in both local and international communities.
Rooted in Vietnam, connected to Chinese heritage, empowered by English.
In our classrooms, we want students to understand what they are learning, why it matters and how they can improve. Strong academic foundations should sit alongside curiosity, independence, responsibility and respect for others.
Learning should also extend beyond the classroom. Through inquiry, project work, technology, collaboration and competition, students have opportunities to apply what they know and solve real problems. Our students have already demonstrated what this can look like, earning first prize at an international science competition in Romania and a gold medal at an international science and invention competition in Indonesia in 2025.
We also want students to engage confidently with the world they are growing into. Opportunities in science, programming, artificial intelligence and other emerging areas should help students become thoughtful users and creators of technology, not simply consumers of it.
As students progress through VHIS, we are strengthening the pathways available to them. We are currently developing an expanded international pathway in partnership with ILTexas in the United States of America, with the intention of launching it in the next academic year once the curriculum, assessment, teacher preparation and relevant approval requirements are properly in place.
Our responsibility is not simply to offer more programmes. It is to ensure that every pathway we provide is academically sound, clearly understood by families and genuinely prepares students for the next stage of their education.
We will also continue to examine the quality of our curriculum, teaching and student experience. A strong school should be willing to listen, learn from evidence and improve where improvement is needed.
Most importantly, I want VHIS to be a school where students are known, supported and challenged. A place where they feel safe to ask questions, confident enough to attempt difficult things and supported when they need help.
That is the kind of school community we are building together, and the standard we should continue to expect of ourselves.

- Our experienced and patient teachers will lead the children from the start of their school career until it is time to say goodbye.
- For us,“the joy of learning” is the key factor of any successful student. We respect and appreciate the unique personality of each student, and arrange appropriate, diverse and lively learning and teaching experiences according to the individual needs and interests of the student.
- Teaching philosophical literature is another cornerstone to bring ideals of morals and ethics closer to the students.
- The school facilities are brand new and well-equipped. By using the latest teaching methods and materials such as books and audio equipment, we can assure that every child will have a successful experience here at our school.
