Vibrant Cultural Showcase at VHIS Binh Duong with Dragon and Lion Dance

On September 26, Viet Hoa International School in Binh Duong held its Cultural Teaching Achievement Exhibition under the theme “Soaring Dragons and Lions, Dancing with Elegance.” The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Han Kuo-Yao, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Wen Chun-Fei, Head of the Overseas Community Affairs Division, and Ms. Chen Pei-Yu, Secretary.

In his speech, Mr. Han highlighted: “Viet Hoa International School has long been committed to preserving and promoting Chinese culture. Witnessing today’s magnificent dragon and lion dance fills me with great joy. I would like to especially thank the Overseas Community Affairs Council for its dedicated efforts in promoting Taiwan’s traditional folk arts and crafts, which enable overseas students to deeply experience the beauty of Chinese culture during their growth.”

He further emphasized that through cultural education activities, young generations can not only deepen their understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture, but also foster greater cultural exchange between Taiwan and Vietnam. He expressed his hope that Viet Hoa International School will continue its educational mission, becoming an important base for cultural inheritance and contributing more vibrant chapters to the international cultural landscape.

The day’s program featured dragon and lion dances, traditional music and dance performances, as well as an exhibition of students’ handcrafted works. These activities showcased the students’ creativity, passion, and cultural appreciation in both their learning and daily lives. The dragon and lion dances conveyed strength and unity, while the performances blended Vietnamese local elements with Chinese characteristics, creating a dynamic stage for cross-cultural exchange.

The event received enthusiastic support from the overseas community, with many representatives of the Taiwanese Business Association in Vietnam joining teachers, students, and parents. More than 300 parents and guests attended, all highly impressed by the students’ energetic performances and thoughtful preparations. The exhibition once again affirmed Viet Hoa International School’s remarkable achievements in promoting cultural education.
