VHIS 2025-2026 Parent Committee Officially Established

To foster closer collaboration between the school and families, our school has recently completed the election of the new Parent Committee. Each class first nominated its representative, and these representatives then elected the President, Vice President, and Auditor. This year’s Parent Committee highlights the school’s diversity and international outlook.

🌍 Diverse Nationalities
The new Parent Committee members come from five countries and regions:

• Taiwan

• Japan

• China

• Ecuador

• India

Among them, Taiwan and China have the largest number of representatives, while parents from Japan, Ecuador, and India also actively participate, making the Parent Committee a platform that blends local characteristics with international perspectives.

👏 President, Vice President, and Auditor
After recommendations and voting by all members, the new leaders are as follows:

• President: Mr. Xu Hongliang (G9)

• Vice President: Mr. Tan Guohua (G2B)

• Auditor: Mr. Chen Shengwen (G5B)

In his acceptance speech, President Xu said:
“I am truly honored to gain everyone’s trust. In the future, I will uphold the spirit of fairness, openness, and cooperation, working hand in hand with all parents to support the school’s development and to serve as a vital bridge between the school and families.”

🤝 Future Outlook
The newly established Parent Committee will undertake the following missions:

• Strengthen communication and collaboration between parents and the school

• Promote cross-cultural exchange to foster a diverse and welcoming campus

• Support student learning and school activities to build a better educational environment

The establishment of the Parent Committee marks an important step on the path of “home-school co-education” and lays a solid foundation for future cooperation and development.
